Claire Cole '12
Claire began to explore undergraduate leadership development through her involvement with Students for Education Reform, a student-led non-profit. She became interested in leadership studies more explicitly through a Princeton Pace Center Breakout Trip examining transferable leadership skills in fall 2010. Since then, she has coordinated an externship with Houston Independent School District leadership team, attended the Yale Education Leadership Conference, and visited Yale to investigate best practices in undergraduate leadership development. On Princeton’s campus, Claire was a Residential College Advisor and Breakout Program Coordinator.
Yu-Sung Huang '12
Yu-Sung majored in Operations Research and Financial Engineering with a certificate in the Woodrow Wilson School. Having spent half of his life in Taiwan, he has also lived in Richmond, VA and currently resides in Fort Worth, TX. Outside of academics, he was a part of Outdoor Action, the Taiwanese American Student Association, and the theater scene on campus. In his spare time, he enjoys strolling around the quaint town of Princeton, cooking with friends, and exploring foodie spots in NYC. For LFC, he has helped plan the Fall Conference and is currently involved in implementing the Dinner Discussion Series.
Alexandra Landon '12
Alex is from Friendswood, TX. She majored in Mechanical Engineering and pursued certificates in Sustainable Energy and Spanish. She was the Co-President of the Entrepreneurship Club. She volunteered for Princeton Engineering Education for Kids and danced with Naacho Indican Dance Troupe. She was an Outdoor Action Leader. She is interested in renewable energy, social entrepreneurship, and sustainable development. She enjoys playing volleyball and trying new restaurants in her spare time.
Rebecca Scharfstein '12
Rebecca Scharfstein is from Boston, MA, and studied economics and environmental policy in the Woodrow Wilson of Public and International Affairs. Rebecca is very interested in leadership "best practices," and organized the LFC winter retreat to Boston during Intersession. In addition to LFC, Rebecca served as a member of ALTA (academic life total assessment), a student-initiated task force to examine academic life on campus. Rebecca was treasurer of the International Relations Council, a peer academic adviser, a junior fellow on the Environmental Affairs Forum, president of Banot (a Jewish women's group), former Vice President of the Center for Jewish Life, and a swim instructor at Dillon pool.
